Dr. Smith is a life-long "Hoosier," having lived all of her life in Indianapolis and later in Carmel, Indiana. All the while she has continued to celebrate her rich cultural Chinese-Philippino heritage through friends, cooking and the arts.
Dr. Smith got her undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University and later her D.D.S. degree from the I.U.School of Dentistry in 1995.
Dr. Smith worked at a few other dental practices before becoming a full-time associate for Dr. Gary Ball in the Spring of 1997.
Over the years, she has built a solid patient base through her genuinely caring attitude, way of making patients feel like family, and her true desire to give patients the best care under the best conditions possible.
Dr. Smith is excited to be treating the children and even some of the grandchildren of patients who have become part of her "family" of patients. She is always excited to meet new people and help people with emergency, basic, restorative, perio, ortho and cosmetic dental needs.
Outside of work, Dr. Smith loves to dote on her husband, Sam, her son, Grant and daughter, Francesca. She enjoys tennis, traveling, cooking, match-making, working out, and playing with her French Bulldog, Toot.
In addition to being involved in dental organizations such as the ADA, IDDS and Women's Dental Study Club, Dr. Smith is also involved in other organizations such as Women's Fund of Central Indiana and Indianapolis Children's Wish Fund.
She and the great staff will bring a smile to your face and maybe even get you to laugh during your visit (even without the laughing gas)!
